How to play PÉPIT?

Audious, effective and accessible to all, this educational game based on the principle of geocaching (treasure hunting using GPS coordinates) is played through a free mobile application and offers walks with enigmas encouraging observation and practice of heritage; all in a game world scripted and populated with thematic characters – the Zoom – guiding families in their quest..

At the end of each route, teams find a bottle – the treasure – in which they collect a reward: badges to collect in the effigy of a Zoom.

A federating game in perpetual evolution at the initiative of the CAUE Allier

Currently, families can, in complete autonomy, play PÉPIT through 37 enigma walks divided into 9 themes embodied by the Zoom and linked to one or more educational files.

Each year, the game experience is enriched thanks to improvements to the application (illustrated lexicon, jokers, etc..) and new routes are added to the already existing offer.
Thus, the department’s network is consolidated and allows for an increase in the game’s power.

For now, our territory is well represented with the urban route in Montluçon, the adventures of Hérisson, Meaulne and Isle-et-Bardais in the forest of Tronçais, as well as the bicycle route on the banks of the Berry canal, launched in 2021.

A multitude of routes for a captivating experience

Innovative and interactive, this treasure hunt based on the principle of geocaching is played through a free mobile application.

It offers 32 walks with riddles, ranging from 1 to 9 kms and encouraging to discover the heritage; all in a game world scripted and populated with characters helping families in their quest.

At the end of each walk, if the answers to the riddles are correct, the GPS coordinates of the treasure are revealed! This is a box containing real rewards to collect…

The educational farm of Domaine de la Ganne in Prémilhat

On about 50 hectares, the farm hosts a herd of Highland cattle, originally from Scotland, but also ornamental poultry, Vietnamese pigs, watusis or other kangaroos and Bennett Wallaby. Multiple activities are offered upon reservation: children’s birthdays, paid guided tour for individuals (2 h approximately), day or half-day at the farm for schools, recreation centers …, direct sales etc.

This complex is equipped with pits from 6 to 20 m deep offering a unique opportunity to introduce you to diving.

The Aquatic Area, a real leisure area dedicated to swimming and water games, consists of a 50-meter sports pool and eight water lines as well as a 25-meter outdoor pool, ideal for swimming.
