Tronçais

a Forest of Exception®.

Duration: 2h30

The Tronçais oak is known worldwide for its quality. About forty trees, several times centenarians, watch over the massif which extends over more than 10 500 hectares, its ponds, springs and alleys. In 2018, the Chênaie Prestige was awarded the label Forêt d’Exception®.

Through a geographical, historical, administrative and economic presentation, you will walk through this forest (by bus or on foot) from the Hameau de Tronçais, to the Viljot fountain, passing near the Colbert Biological Reserve and the Stebbing oak, today one of the most beautiful oaks in the forest.
