The medieval city of Montluçon
Duration: 2 h
Built against its castle, the medieval city has preserved magnificent 15th-century timber-framed houses. Its narrow streets (pedestrian area) intertwine around the city and take you in turn: Passage du Doyenné from the 13th c, Notre-Dame square with its Gothic church, framed by superb 18th c houses, rue de la Fontaine with its 16th c mansions, Saint-Pierre district with its 15th c half-timbered houses, well restored and tightened around the 12th c Saint-Pierre church.
