Presentation of our entity
The Coeur de France Valley Tourist Office is a association of the 1901 law type (non-profit) bringing together elected officials and tourism professionals.
It came into being on November 7, 2017, as a result of the merger between the territories of Montluçon Communauté, Val de Cher, and Pays de Tronçais.
The area of competence of this brand new structure corresponds to a population basin of approximately 80,000 inhabitants for a total of 43 communes.
His essential mission is to receive and inform visitors on the offer of leisure, catering, accommodation and more broadly on all subjects facilitating the stay of newcomers. This reception is always carried out in the form of a “sales force advice” in order to stimulate the consumption of the offer present on our sector.
The other missions of the OTSI are: animation, promotion, technical support for the implementation of tourism development policies, management of tourist equipment and services.
These actions are carried out by a team of 12 employees.
The missions are carried out within the framework of a delegation of public service, in return for which, the various Public Establishments of Communal Cooperation (EPCI) provide more than 90% funding for the Tourist Office.
