“A Summer in Montlu” from June to September 2025

Summer is approaching… and Montluçon has put together a season packed with events for you.
Concerts, shows, entertainment, sport, culture… the town is getting into the summer spirit to ensure you have a wonderful time.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store for you:
𝐅𝐞̂𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞, 5 July: demonstrations, entertainment and music in the medieval quarter.
𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐞𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐬: from 5 July to 3 August, a sports village on the banks of the Cher with a wide range of entertainment and outdoor activities.
𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞́𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐞̀𝐫𝐞𝐬: from 30 August to 21 September, a light show and dynamic projections on the façades of the Mupop and Notre-Dame Church.

And much more besides: the Jazz au Fil du Cher Festival, a water show on the banks of the Cher on 1 August, Bastille Day celebrations, exhibitions… and more.

Remp’Arts Festival – 2025 edition
22–31 July 2025

Remp’Arts is an open-air theatre festival organised by the Val de Cher Community of Communes at remarkable heritage sites that are usually closed to the general public.

It’s an unmissable event for all lovers of theatre and the performing arts!

This year, the festival will take place from 22 to 31 July 2025 inclusive, featuring breathtaking performances spread over four evenings that promise to delight the eyes and ears of all audience members.

The Val de Cher Community of Communes is proud to present this new edition of the Remp’Arts Festival, which celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the region. Whether you’re a fan of singing, plays or contemporary performances, you’re sure to find a show that will captivate your attention and spark your imagination.

The “Un été dans mon village” Festival features live performances, concerts and more… It has been creating a festive atmosphere in the villages around Montluçon for 15 years.

For the 16th edition of the festival, which will take place from 25 to 31 August 2025 inclusive, a packed and varied programme awaits you, combining exhibitions, theatre, circus acts, dance, concerts and other artistic performances – some of which are full of humour – that will delight young and old alike!

The festival caravan will tour the villages of La Petite Marche, Marcillat-en-Combraille, Sainte-Thérence, Teillet-Argenty and Lignerolles, with an eclectic programme full of surprises… and more.
